My Biography
Martin Jimenez is a seasoned IT executive with over 23 years of experience spanning enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and strategic technology advisory. In 2025, he served as the Chief Innovation and Information Officer for the Government of Puerto Rico at the Puerto Rico Innovation and Technology Service (PRITS), leading statewide digital-transformation initiatives, strengthening cybersecurity posture, and modernizing public-sector services.
As the Founder of NexGen Systems, Martin is at the forefront of transforming businesses with innovative, technology-driven solutions tailored to the digital age. His team helps organizations boost efficiency, manage risk, and accelerate innovation across industries. Previously, he served as Director of IT for the Municipio Autónomo de San Juan, overseeing a $21 million budget and a 22-person team. His career also includes key roles at Santander Bank of Puerto Rico, MMM Holdings, and Cybertech Solutions Group, where he consistently led digital transformation, improved security, and optimized IT operations.
Martin brings deep expertise in cloud platform engineering, data center migrations, security engineering, and IT infrastructure management. He applies Lean Six Sigma principles to drive sustainable growth, streamline processes, and reduce costs without sacrificing quality. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Martin holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and excels at motivating teams to deliver under pressure with a strong focus on quality control, risk mitigation, and measurable outcomes.
